Duties: |
Architect, design and engineer detailed solutions for Managed Hosting, Disaster Recovery, and Professional Services engagements for prospects.
Provide pre- and post-sales support in the Southwest region to Sales Account Executive for Managed Hosting, Tape based backups, Data mirroring, Data replication, Data Center Out-Sourcing, and Professional Consulting services engagements.
Deliver technical presentations of Bull’s service offerings to new and existing customers.
Gather technical information on the customers IT environment, including but not limited to, Data Center Operations, Host Systems, Networking Infrastructure, Backup processes, applications, data bases, and user access and business unit interdependencies.
Directly engage customers to extract critical technical and business drivers that may position Bull’s service offering deliverables.
Prioritize and manage the regional sales opportunities and goals.
Maintain familiarity and adherence to all of Bull’s methods and procedures.
Consistently manage all Customer Support Requests to a timely and successful completion.
An ability to provide “level three” technical support, including assisting with creating customized or out-of-the-box solutions. |
Qualifications: |
5 - 7 years experience of technical services support or pre-sales support.
5 - 7 years experience of Managed Hosting services, Operations Services, or Networking
Engineering.
Excellent PC Skills and common business applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).
Knowledge of all aspects of Information Services Technology to include Data Center Infrastructures (hardware, software, and middleware), data base management systems (Commercial RDBMS offering), data backup and recovery concepts, access and security concepts, as well as overall systems monitoring an alert techniques.
Exceptional ability to listen, assess, and document information from client.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent presentation skills.
Able to handle a fast paced environment and continuously re-prioritize while maintaining a constant focus on closing deals.
Limited travel in the U.S. Southwest.
College Degree or equivalent.
In addition to the above required skills, all successful candidates must possess working knowledge in at least two of the following areas described below:
Working knowledge of data replication and data mirroring technologies and processes.
Working knowledge of Managed Hosting Services, technologies and concepts.
Working knowledge of networking and telecommunication technologies and concepts.
Working knowledge of system components and usage.
Working understanding of Consulting and Technical Services.
Preferred Certifications: MCSE, CCNA, CCSE, CISSP |
